Wine sense organ analysis
Wine represents a products obtained by the combination of nature, human expertise and technique. It can be analyzed in two different ways: chemical analysis and sense organ analysis. Chemical analysis is carried out in laboratory using instruments to measure perfectly the rates of sugars, acids, alcohols and other substances. However it can not establish the wine quality and, especially, can not describe the emotion that some good wine may create. Sense organ analysis is carried out using only the sense organs, to evaluate the wine sense characteristics, in order to esteem its qualities or lacks.
All tasting methods, established by many different wine organizations, include three distinct stages:
- view analysis
- smell analysis
- taste/smell analysis
