A brief loop, for when you don’t have much time at your disposal.
The Contrada Mezzanotte dominates Teramo and offers a unique view. The road that goes from the high part of the Contrada to the intersection for Sparazzano is closed to traffic (due to a landslide) but it’s possible to bike on it. We always recommend you use a helmet and wear the adequate clothes and bring along a tire repair kit.
Itinerary: (a= asphalt road s= dirt road) Teramo (a), Tordino River park (uphill towards the Cona area)(s), Contrada Mezzanotte (s), Sparazzano intersection (s), Rapino (a), Rapino State Road 150 (s), Miano (a), Sardinara (a), Miano fork on the State road 81 (to Collurania)(a), State road to Teramo (a).
