From Teramo’s hillside to the foot of the Monti Gemelli mountains

Itinerary: (a= asphalt road s= dirt road) Teramo (a), Vezzola Bridge (a), Case Silveri (a), Pantaneto (a), S. Maria in Praediis Church (a), Colle Caruno (a), Magnanella (s), Roiano (s), (from here you can reach the Gole del Salinello) Rocche di Civitella (a), Battaglia (s), Garrano Alto (s), Garrano Basso (s), State Road 81 (s), Rupo fork (a), Rupo (a), Castrogno (s), Putignano alto (s), Teramo (a).

Note: The loop is short but very satisfying because of the variety of terrain you’ll cross.

Along the itinerary you will come across many different churches, usually open on Sundays, as well as various sources of water. We always recommend you use a helmet and wear the adequate clothes and bring along a tire repair kit.
