The story of Azienda Vinicola San Lorenzo has historical roots. The first evidence regarding the family dates back to 1890 and it already shows their passion for viticulture and for the art of winemaking.
Today our 150ha vineyard extends in between Teramo and Pescara, arranged in rows upon a belt of hills.
San Lorenzo is the biggest winery of the province of Teramo with an annual output of 25,000 hl.
Each bunch of grapes is still handpicked and harvest lasts for about two months, from the beginning of September until the end of October.
At San Lorenzo high quality is the starting point to make excellent wines.
The constant selection of the grapes made over the years improved those indigenous varieties passed on to us by the old generations. Today the particular attention during the harvest as well as the prompt vinification of the grapes, represent the most important tools to obtain a wine that shows a balanced bouquet.
It is with this constant, scrupulous and careful dedication that we make great wines.
