The wine and grapes producing company Lepore, founded in 1992, is near the provincial road that takes you from Colonnella to the Val Vibrata Valley towards the south of the town. The company's founder, Luigi Lepore, has been able to transmit a profound respect for the traditional way of producing Abruzzese wine. This method has been interpreted in modern forms, in order to always satisfy the most stringent of consumer tastes. The company works with 43 hectares of owned vineyards; of these 34 are of Montepulciano, 4 are Trebbiano D'Abruzzo and 5 have the Passerina, a particular type of local grape, a real re-discovery of the Lepore company.

All of the company's production is registered D.O.C and includes Montepulciano d'Abruzzo D.O.C. and D.O.C.G of the Colline Teramane including many reserves,Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Cerasuolo D.O.C., Trebbiano d'Abruzzo D.O.C. and Controguerra Passerina D.O.C.

Also, the company produces very particular limited reserves of: raisin Montepulciano wine, fermented raisin wine in small acacia containers, extra virgin olive oil, Novello wine and grappa.
