The Mazzarosa De Vincenzi cantina is one of the oldest in Abruzzo. It was created by Senator De Vincenzi, who held various government offices first in the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies and later in the Kingdom of Italy, where he was Minister of Agriculture. Hi s public mandate finished, he dedicated himself to the wine company, building a marvelous cantina (which contains one of the biggest barrels) and starting experimentation on local vine species such as mallbeck and pinot. The company today is lead by Antonio Mazzarosa Devincenzi and owns 33 hectares of property from which it gets Montepulciano and Trebbiano grapes for a total production of 50 thousand bottles of doc wine.
