The Azienda Agricola Di Nicola, run today by Marcello Di Nicola, was created at the end of the 1800's on the hills just northeast of Roseto degli Abruzzi. The company afterwards built an olive press and a new cantina, with new vineyards, but also olive and fruit tress, cultivated with biological methods for over a decade. Alongside the classic wines of the area, made with Trebbiano and montepulciano grapes, and also an original method of producing the traditional vino cotto, one can buy jams, and olive oil, boiled grape juice, giuggiole broth, nespolino and ratafia.
