Over 100 Abruzzo producers exhibit oil, wine, cheese, cold meat products, sweets, the famous liquorice of Atri, saffron, truffles, honey, pasta and much more within the heart of one of the most famous art centres of Abruzzo.
Visitors can buy products directly from the producers. Good food lovers can also take participate to theme meals. During the four days dedicate to “Atri a Tavola” (two in July and two in August) the characteristic restaurants of Atri propose typical set dinner menus including traditional dishes of the Abruzzo gastronomy such as Chitarra con polpettine (square spagheti with tomato sauce and meat balls), Maccheroni alla Mugnaia, Sagnette con ceci e mentuccia (pasta with chickpeas and wild mint), Pecora alla callara (sheep stew), Castrato in umido (mutton stew), Pecorino fritto (fried sheep's milk cheese) ect...
