It is the most antique life crib within the Province of Teramo and is characterized by the magical and absorbed atmosphere of this little village cradled on the slopes of the Gran Sasso.

The preparations for this traditional event that last all year involve the entire population  as well as  the actual representation which is performed on the evening of Santo Stefano on the main village square set up for the occasion.

Here in the dusk enlightened by smoking torches, the performers dressed up in Roman period costumes tell the story of the Nativity starting from the biblical events linked to the Creation.
