The feast and the fair take place on the 15th of August around the splendid church of Santa Maria di Ronzano, in the open country.
Like many other midsummer religious feast dedicated to the Madonna this festivity roots in antique rural rituals to express thankfulness for the harvest and to celebrate fecundity of the soil through the donation of the first fruits to the divinity.
After the votive pilgrimage followed by an agricultural fair, the antique tribute to the Benedictine monks, once present within the monastery, is repeated each year.
