The traditional “aprutini” float parade, runs from the 13th-century Palazzo dei Duchi d’Acquaviva to the roman-gothic style Cathedral dell'Assunta,through the corso Publio Elio Adriano.
These typical painted Abruzzo floats are pulled by adorned oxes and carry dancing and singing groups dressed in costumes
This event represents one of the most ancient expressions of Abruzzo folklore.
