This exhibition of suggestive and interesting photographs is dedicated to two of the Patriarchs of the Monti della Laga: the megalithic walls of Colle del Vento, standing right above Piano Vomano and the Quercia Mazzucche, the widest oak of southern central Italy, with its eight metres in diameter. The subfossil trunk of a probably nearly ten thousand years old Turkey oak, welcomes the visitors to the path which leads to the oak.
The exhibition is curated by the Parco Nazionale Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga.
