In 1914 Pasquale Ventili purchased 15 Pagliacetti sculptures from various museums of Florence, and donated them to several Hospitals and Welfare Institutes of Teramo. Today the artworks can be admired in a schoolroom set up for that purpose.
Among the works, which all date back to the second half of the 19th century, three stand out particularly: the "Garibaldi a Caprera", the bust of "Generale Moltke" and the famous "Vittorio Emanuele II". The latter was commissioned by the Municipality of Giulianova in memory of the historical passing through of the King (15th October 1860) after having crossed the Tronto on his way to meet Garibaldi.
