This museum offers a wonderful opportunity to travel through time and discover the exciting evolution of the art and fashion of the last two centuries. The historical Museum of leather was created thanks to the passion of a family; the Ripanis have been producing leather bags and accessories for three generations.

The exhibition was also promoted by the contribution of further local families and displays today around 100 items: bags and suitcases dating back as far as 1800 and other accessories of great historical and economical value.

Some of these objects belonged to famous figures like Pope Paolo VI, Giacomo Leopardi and Gabriele D'Annunzio.

Among the numerous valuable items a bag of pure gold and diamonds and a Roman gradual (score of sacred music) from the 16^th century particularly stand out.
