St Leucio’s Church

St Leucio’s Church, the patron of Pietracamela, is at the entrance of the village. Its origin dates back to the Middle Ages. Inside there are Baroque altars, a sixteenth-century holy water stoup, a beautiful eighteenth-century pipe organ and two fifteenth-century precious processional crosses ascribed to Nicola da Guardiagrele.

In the church’s only hall one can see two altars: Saint Leucio’s high altar of 1749 at the far end and on the side the Madonna of the Rosary’s altar of 1736.
