Church of St John the Baptist
The Parish of Saint John the Baptist of the 17th century is located in the main square of the village.
A Renaissance portal stands out from the façade. The church’s interior consists of three naves separated by big columns. It has an altarpiece in majolica by Francesco Grue, representing the Madonna of Loreto and the Saints. Also, there is a seventeenth-century altar surmounted by a painting of Saint Michele framed with tiles, and a polychromatic wooden sculpture if the 13th century, representing Saint Anne holding Saint Mary on her lap. This artwork comes from the destroyed St Salvatore’s Abbey.
