The Staurós Museum of contemporary sacred arts on the Passion of Christ was inaugurated on the 1^st October 1994 to conclude the 6^th Biennal and includes three collections exhibited inside three different rooms.

The first 300 sq.m. exhibition is on the first floor (above the Penitentiary)

the second 715 sq.m. exhibition is set up in the basement

the third is set up inside a 100 sq.m. room on the same floor as the main hall of the new church and hosts an exhibition of 25 works by the Abruzzo artist Marcello Mondazzi on S.Paolo della Croce.

Altogether the Staurós Museum exhibits a culturally relevant collection thanks not only to the quality and consistency of the Fieschi Collection but also to an accessible exhaustive documentation on contemporary sacred Art.
