The Splendour Art Museum (MAS) was created in 1997 thanks to Father Serafino Colangeli inside the ancient Capucine Convent.

It lies next to the Sanctuary of the Madonna dello Splendore and is set up on three floors over 1200 sqm.

The Permanent Collection consists of over 130 works of contemporary art, paintings, sculptures and graphic works illustrating the current tendencies of Italian and international art.

A further section, dedicated to sacred art, enhances the collection with works such as the sculptures of Fancesco Messina, Floriano Bodini, Venanzo Crocetti and precious etchings by Georges Rouault.

The MAS is temporarily hosting the Bindi Collection: over 400 works dating from the 17th to the early 20th century including a core of 19th century Neapolitan landscapes of the so-called “di Posillipo School”.
